JOB TITLE: Tester

DUTIES: Perform front end and back end testing to determine system performance. Utilize JAMA, JIRA, WinSCP, Putty, SQL DB2, HP Unified Functional Testing and other Windows office tools to test system performance. Execute software test protocols for unit, integration, system, and regression testing; black box/white box testing. Design, document, and implement new test cases based on requirements by using Microsoft office tools. Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes. Create and maintain databases of known test defects using DB2. Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates. Test aggregated data from diverse sources and generated complex derived tables on information design tool, using IDT Universe. Use Selenium, TestNG and QTP automation to develop testing programs that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, or usability. Prepare and Report for framework tests, logging framework generics logs by using log4j, building management tool by using Maven. Write and execute testing cases for regression, unit and smoke testing purposes using BDD (Cucumber) and Junit. Measure system behavior and performance under load for performance testing using LoadRunner and JMeter. Test data foundations, business layers and hierarchies for multi-dimensional analysis. Design web interface for user login and authentication using HTML/CSS. Create and design the automation platform using Java Spring Boot and selenium with MySQL as the backend database. Conduct indexing search using NoSQL. Use Java Sphinx Open Source to create a speech recognition for testing documentation purposes.

EDUCATION: Master’s Degree in Information Systems Security
