Job Title: Batch Operations / Scheduling Engineer

Location: York, PA

Required Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with Op Con (schedule build and production support)
  • Strong knowledge of scheduling concepts (dependencies, calendars, event-based automation)
  • Experience with Windows Server and Linux/UNIX environments
  • Experience with LSAM configuration, machine groups, and workload management
  • Experience with Op Con Deploy, Vision, and Self-Service
  • Exposure to Kubernetes and container-based batch processing
  • Integration experience with REST APIs and enterprise systems (ServiceNow, SAP, PeopleSoft)
  • Design, develop, and manage batch workflows and job schedules using OpCon
  • Build job dependency chains, calendars, and event-driven automation
  • Monitor batch processes and ensure SLA compliance
  • Configure and manage Op Con components including LSAM agents, machine groups, and thresholds
  • Automate file transfers using SFTP/FTP and manage secure file handling processes
  • Develop and maintain scripts using PowerShell, Bash, or Python
  • Support SQL Server jobs and perform basic database troubleshooting
  • Perform incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and issue resolution

Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, or Computer Science and Engineering or STEM related courses.
