Position Summary

4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Software Quality Assurance Analysts and Testers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Develop, review, and execute manual test cases to validate application functionality and business requirements.
  2. Perform system, integration, and functional testing to identify defects and ensure software quality.
  3. Document test results, track defects, and collaborate with development teams to support issue resolution.
  4. Participate in requirements reviews and contribute to test planning, test scenarios, and quality assurance activities.
  5. Support software release validation and ensure compliance with established testing processes and quality standards.

Minimum Qualifications

The position requires:

Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience 3–7 years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or application validation.
Technical Skills Manual Testing, System Testing, Functional Testing, Test Case Development, Test Execution, Defect Tracking, Software Quality Assurance, SDLC, SQL, Test Documentation, Issue Resolution, Requirements Validation, Test Planning.
Business / Domain Skills Experience with Quality Assurance, Business Requirements Analysis, Defect Management, Software Validation, Process Improvement, Risk Assessment, Stakeholder Collaboration, Documentation Management.
Communication Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.
Documentation Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.
Work Authorization Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Experience working within structured Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) environments.
  2. Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools.
  3. Basic understanding of databases and SQL queries for data validation.
  4. Experience supporting system integration and user acceptance testing activities.
  5. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  6. Experience working on enterprise application implementations or support projects.
