Position Summary
4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Software Developers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend applications and services.
- Build and support RESTful and SOAP-based integrations.
- Develop scalable and secure enterprise applications using modern frameworks and technologies.
- Create and execute unit tests to ensure code quality and application reliability.
- Troubleshoot application, integration, and database-related issues.
- Support application deployments, maintenance, and production activities.
Minimum Qualifications
The position requires:
| Education | Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. |
| Experience | 5+ years of experience in Java application development, backend engineering, system integration, and enterprise software delivery. |
| Technical Skills | Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Framework, REST APIs, SOAP Services, Hibernate, SQL, Oracle, Web Services, Microservices, Mockito, Maven, Git, JIRA, WebSphere, Application Development, System Integration |
| Business / Domain Skills | Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Requirements Analysis, Agile Methodology, Technical Documentation, Problem Solving, Stakeholder Collaboration, Code Review, Quality Assurance, Application Support, Troubleshooting, System Design, Continuous Improvement |
| Communication | Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders. |
| Documentation | Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables. |
| Work Authorization | Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements. |
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience with frontend technologies such as React, Angular, or Node.js.
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture and distributed systems.
- Experience optimizing database queries and application performance.
- Strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
