Position Summary

4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Computer Systems Engineers/Architects to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Design, implement, and maintain cloud platform solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  2. Develop and manage infrastructure automation using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
  3. Build automation scripts and platform tooling to streamline cloud operations and deployments.
  4. Implement security controls, access management, and governance standards across cloud environments.
  5. Support CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and release management processes.
  6. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud infrastructure, platform services, and application performance.

 

Minimum Qualifications

The position requires:

Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience 5+ years of experience in cloud platform engineering, infrastructure automation, and cloud operations.
Technical Skills Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Python, Terraform, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Cloud Security, IAM, Service Accounts, Access Management, Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, Jenkins, Git, Cloud Build, Vertex AI, VPC, Networking, DNS, Firewall Rules, Monitoring, Logging, SRE, Automation Scripting, Secrets Management, Configuration Management, Cloud Operations
Business / Domain Skills Platform Engineering, Cloud Operations, Infrastructure Management, Security Governance, Process Automation, Incident Management, Reliability Engineering, Change Management, Release Management, Technical Documentation, Stakeholder Collaboration, Problem Solving, Continuous Improvement, Risk Management
Communication Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.
Documentation Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.

  5. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
