Position Summary
4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Software Developers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Design, develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise Java applications and related database components.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, troubleshoot application issues, and support system performance improvements.
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and QA teams to deliver software solutions using Agile development methodologies.
- Support application deployment, production maintenance, system modernization, and technical documentation.
Minimum Qualifications
The position requires:
| Education | Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. |
| Experience | 8+ years of experience in Java application development, SQL database development, Linux environments, and enterprise software support. |
| Technical Skills | SDLC, Application Modernization, Requirements Analysis, Team Collaboration, Problem Solving, Technical Documentation |
| Business / Domain Skills | SDLC, Application Modernization, Requirements Analysis, Team Collaboration, Problem Solving, Technical Documentation |
| Communication | Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders. |
| Documentation | Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables. |
| Work Authorization | Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements. |
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise applications in a collaborative development environment.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Atlassian tools, and application lifecycle management.
- Experience supporting application modernization or migration from legacy systems is preferred.
