Position Summary
4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Software Developers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Lead the design and development of scalable front-end and back-end applications and services using Node.js and modern JavaScript technologies.
- Provide technical leadership for API development, system integration, cloud deployment, architecture, and delivery planning.
- Guide engineering teams through code reviews, testing, debugging, technical problem-solving, and implementation of software development best practices.
- Collaborate with developers, designers, business stakeholders, and technical teams while mentoring engineers and driving continuous improvements.
Minimum Qualifications
The position requires:
| Education | Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. |
| Experience | 10+ years of software development experience with expert-level Node.js expertise and experience providing technical leadership for enterprise web applications. |
| Technical Skills | Node.js, JavaScript, REST APIs, AWS, Web Application Development, Cloud Deployment, System Integration, API Development |
| Business / Domain Skills | Technical Leadership, Software Architecture, Agile Development, Team Mentoring, Solution Delivery, Stakeholder Collaboration |
| Communication | Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders. |
| Documentation | Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables. |
| Work Authorization | Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements. |

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing and deploying scalable Node.js applications and backend services in AWS cloud environments.
- Strong experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, API architecture, automated testing, debugging, and CI/CD practices.
- Experience leading engineering teams, mentoring developers, conducting technical reviews, and driving architecture and delivery decisions.
