Job Title: Cerner CCL Developer

Required Qualifications:

• Analyze and document clinical workflows across inpatient, outpatient, and ancillary settings.
• Translate clinical and business requirements into technical/data specifications.
• Develop, test, and optimize Cerner Command Language (CCL) scripts.
• Perform data extraction, validation, and reconciliation from Cerner Millennium (Oracle).
• Support EHR migration, reporting, and legacy system retirement initiatives.
• Design and maintain ETL processes, data feeds, and flat file integrations.
• Troubleshoot CCL performance and resolve integration/reporting issues.
• Collaborate with clinical and technical teams for accurate implementation.
• Communicate technical constraints to non-technical stakeholders.
• Manage batch jobs and support production/non-production environments.
• Strong understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare operations.
• Experience with large-scale EHR implementations, migrations, or optimization projects.
• Advanced hands-on experience with Cerner Command Language (CCL).
• Strong knowledge of Cerner Millennium architecture and Oracle databases.
• Expertise in SQL, Linux, and enterprise data extraction/migration techniques.
• Experience designing and supporting ETL processes and data pipelines.
• Familiarity with healthcare data integration and reporting environments.
• Experience with REST / SOA-based development.
• Knowledge of distributed systems, networking, and performance tuning.

Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, or Computer Science and Engineering or STEM related courses.
