Position Summary
4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Computer Systems Analysts to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Assess the existing Data & Analytics landscape and define a target-state architecture aligned with business and technical objectives.
- Design scalable data architecture solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Google Cloud data services.
- Evaluate cloud technologies, data platforms, integration patterns, security requirements, and architecture options to support future-state capabilities.
- Provide technical guidance and architectural recommendations covering performance, scalability, security, governance, and cost optimization.
Minimum Qualifications
The position requires:
| Education | Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. |
| Experience | 6–9 years of experience in data architecture, cloud architecture, and enterprise data/analytics solutions, with strong hands-on experience in GCP/Google Cloud. |
| Technical Skills | Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Data Architecture, Cloud Architecture, Google Cloud Data Services, Data Integration, Data Analytics, Cloud Security, Cloud Infrastructure |
| Business / Domain Skills | Data & Analytics Strategy, Target-State Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, Technology Assessment, Data Governance, Cloud Transformation |
| Communication | Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders. |
| Documentation | Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables. |
| Work Authorization | Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements. |

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience conducting current-state and target-state assessments for enterprise Data & Analytics environments.
- Strong knowledge of Google Cloud data and analytics technologies and cloud architecture best practices.
- Houston-area/local candidates preferred due to potential onsite client visits.
