Position Summary
4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Computer Systems Engineers/Architects to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Design and implement scalable cloud platform solutions and infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) and automation frameworks.
- Build and support cloud onboarding processes, deployment pipelines, and platform services.
- Establish cloud engineering standards, governance controls, and operational best practices.
- Implement security, compliance, and reliability controls across cloud environments.
- Monitor platform performance, availability, and operational health.
Minimum Qualifications
The position requires:
| Education | Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. |
| Experience | 7+ years of experience in cloud engineering, platform architecture, infrastructure automation, and cloud operations. |
| Technical Skills | Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Python, Terraform, Cloud Architecture, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD, Cloud Automation, Cloud Security, DevOps, Kubernetes, Cloud Networking, Platform Engineering, Infrastructure Management, Monitoring, Incident Management, Scripting, Git |
| Business / Domain Skills | Cloud Strategy, Platform Governance, Stakeholder Management, Process Improvement, Risk Management, Operational Excellence, Technical Leadership, Documentation, Compliance Support, Project Coordination, Problem Solving, Cross-Functional Collaboration |
| Communication | Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders. |

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience leading cloud platform or infrastructure engineering initiatives.
- Familiarity with security and compliance requirements in regulated environments.
- Experience supporting large-scale cloud transformation programs.
- Strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
