Position Summary
4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Computer Systems Engineers/Architects to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Design and deliver enterprise solution architectures that align with business objectives, technology strategies, and architectural standards.
- Develop reference architectures, technology roadmaps, governance practices, and architecture frameworks to support enterprise modernization initiatives.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to evaluate emerging technologies, reduce solution complexity, and guide architectural decisions.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and architectural governance while promoting best practices across enterprise technology initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
The position requires:
| Education | Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. |
| Experience | 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, systems design, application architecture, and enterprise technology strategy. |
| Technical Skills | Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, Application Architecture, Systems Design, Systems Engineering, Architecture Frameworks, Technology Roadmapping, Enterprise Application Development |
| Business / Domain Skills | Technology Strategy, Enterprise Governance, Stakeholder Management, Technical Leadership, Risk Management, Cross-Functional Collaboration |
| Communication | Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders. |
| Documentation | Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables. |
| Work Authorization | Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements. |
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certifications in enterprise architecture, IT service management, or project management.
- Experience leading enterprise modernization initiatives and mentoring architecture teams.
