Job Title: Functional Tester

Required Qualifications:

• Experience with Agile, RUP, Lean, or Waterfall methodologies
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for test management
• Experience testing legacy system modernization projects
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies (white-box, black-box, regression, coverage)
• Experience in batch, interface, and data conversion testing
• Proficiency in writing and executing test cases and test scenarios
• Strong SQL skills for database validation
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Design, develop, and execute functional and regression test cases
• Perform end-to-end testing for web-based applications
• Identify, document, and track defects and ensure proper resolution
• Conduct batch testing, interface testing (SOAP UI, flat files), and data validation
• Perform database validation using SQL queries
• Validate security roles and access controls (coarse and fine-grained)
• Participate in test case reviews and provide feedback
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve quality

Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, or Computer Science and Engineering or STEM related courses.
