Position Summary
4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Health Informatics Specialists to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Analyze and document clinical and operational workflows to support system implementation and optimization efforts.
- Gather and document business and functional requirements from stakeholders.
- Support EHR and clinical system configuration, testing, validation, and deployment activities.
- Collaborate with clinical, operational, and technical teams to resolve system issues and improve workflows.
- Assist with system integration, interface validation, and data flow troubleshooting.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, workflow diagrams, test scripts, and status reports.
Minimum Qualifications
The position requires:
| Education | Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. |
| Experience | 3+ years of experience supporting healthcare information systems, clinical applications, system implementations, or healthcare technology projects. |
| Technical Skills | Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR), Laboratory Information Systems (LIS), Oracle Cerner Millennium, PathNet, Healthcare Applications, Clinical Workflow Analysis, Requirements Gathering, System Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Integration Testing, HL7, Interface Support, Data Validation, Defect Tracking, Workflow Documentation, Reporting, Project Coordination, Healthcare System Implementations |
| Business / Domain Skills | Experience with Healthcare Operations, Laboratory Operations, Clinical Workflows, Healthcare Informatics, Stakeholder Management, Business Analysis, Process Improvement, Training Support, Change Management, Risk Management, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Compliance, Healthcare Documentation, PMO Support, Status Reporting |
| Communication | Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders. |
| Documentation | Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables. |
| Work Authorization | Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements. |
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Informatics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Biology, Laboratory Sciences, or a related field.
- Experience supporting EHR, LIS, or healthcare modernization initiatives.
- Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards and integrations.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulatory and compliance requirements.
