Position Summary
4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Network and Computer Systems Administrators to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Install, configure, administer, and maintain enterprise middleware platforms and application environments.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis to ensure operational stability.
- Manage platform upgrades, patching, security configurations, and production deployments.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and support teams to maintain reliable integrations and enterprise services.
Minimum Qualifications
The position requires:
| Education | Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. |
| Experience | 5+ years of experience in middleware administration, enterprise application support, Linux administration, and production operations. |
| Technical Skills | System Administration, Linux/Unix, Application Support, Middleware Administration, Java, REST APIs, Performance Monitoring, Security Administration |
| Business / Domain Skills | Production Support, Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Solving, Technical Documentation, Cross-functional Collaboration |
| Communication | Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders. |
| Documentation | Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables. |
| Work Authorization | Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements. |
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting enterprise IT infrastructure and application environments.
- Strong troubleshooting, system administration, and operational support skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in enterprise environments.
