Position Summary
4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Software Developers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Design, implement, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines to support efficient software delivery and deployment processes.
- Develop and manage cloud-native infrastructure, containerized environments, and platform automation solutions.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability while implementing improvements to scalability and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and release management teams to streamline deployments and resolve production issues.
- Establish DevOps best practices, infrastructure automation standards, security controls, and release management processes.
Minimum Qualifications
The position requires:
| Education | Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. |
| Experience | 6–9+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, or software deployment automation. |
| Technical Skills | DevOps, CI/CD, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Cloud Platforms, Containerization, Automation, Git, Jenkins, Release Management, Linux, Monitoring & Logging, Scripting, Configuration Management, Platform Engineering. |
| Business / Domain Skills | Release Management, Change Management, Incident Management, Process Improvement, Agile Methodologies, Cross-Functional Collaboration, Risk Management, Technical Leadership. |
| Communication | Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders. |
| Documentation | Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables. |
| Work Authorization | Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements. |
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading DevOps, platform engineering, or release engineering initiatives.
- Strong expertise in container orchestration and cloud-native application deployments.
- Experience implementing infrastructure automation and CI/CD best practices.
- Knowledge of system monitoring, performance tuning, and operational reliability.
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale application environments.
