Position Summary
4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Software Developers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Design, develop, and maintain MES applications to support manufacturing operations and business requirements.
- Develop system integrations, troubleshoot application issues, and optimize software performance using modern development technologies.
- Collaborate with business users, technical teams, and stakeholders to gather requirements and implement scalable MES solutions.
- Create technical documentation, perform testing, support deployments, and provide ongoing application maintenance and enhancements.
Minimum Qualifications
The position requires:
| Education | Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. |
| Experience | 3–5 years of experience developing, implementing, and supporting Manufacturing Execution System (MES) solutions with experience in enterprise application development and system integration. |
| Technical Skills | Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Java, SQL, Application Development, System Integration, Database Development, Software Testing, Technical Documentation |
| Business / Domain Skills | Manufacturing Operations, Production Management, Manufacturing Process Improvement, Enterprise Manufacturing Systems, Business Process Analysis, Production Support |
| Communication | Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders. |
| Documentation | Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables. |
| Work Authorization | Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements. |
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing and supporting enterprise MES platforms in manufacturing environments.
- Experience integrating MES applications with enterprise business systems and databases.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% to support client implementations and project activities.
