Position Summary
4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Software Developers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based enterprise applications, web services, and batch processing solutions.
- Develop application components, write complex SQL queries, and support database integration for enterprise systems.
- Troubleshoot application issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement code enhancements to improve system performance.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to support application development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
Minimum Qualifications
The position requires:
| Education | Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. |
| Experience | 3+ years of experience in Java/J2EE application development, SQL programming, and enterprise application support. |
| Technical Skills | Java, SQL, J2EE, JavaScript, REST APIs, Relational Databases, Application Development, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) |
| Business / Domain Skills | Application Development, Business Process Analysis, Problem Solving, Root Cause Analysis, System Integration, Agile Methodology |
| Communication | Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders. |
| Documentation | Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables. |
| Work Authorization | Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements. |
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing enterprise web applications and batch processing solutions.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Experience working with large-scale enterprise systems.
