Position Summary
4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Software Developers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Design and develop production-ready full-stack applications using React, TypeScript, Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs.
- Build scalable SPA architectures using component-based design, routing, code splitting, lazy loading, and modern state-management solutions.
- Implement real-time, bidirectional communication using MQTT over WebSockets and integrate application services across backend and data layers.
- Collaborate with product, QA, DevOps, and engineering teams to troubleshoot issues, improve performance and reliability, and support releases.
Minimum Qualifications
The position requires:
| Education | Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. |
| Experience | 6–9 years of experience in full-stack application development with strong hands-on expertise in React, TypeScript, Java, Spring Boot, and enterprise web application development. |
| Technical Skills | React, TypeScript, Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, MQTT/WebSockets, Redux/Zustand/MobX, Jest/React Testing Library |
| Business / Domain Skills | Full Stack Application Development, SPA Architecture, API Integration, Software Testing, CI/CD & DevOps, Production Support |
| Communication | Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders. |
| Documentation | Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables. |
| Work Authorization | Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements. |

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Webpack/Vite, Babel/ESBuild, Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and modern front-end development practices.
- Strong experience with Java Spring Security, scalable backend services, performance optimization, and production troubleshooting.
- Proven ability to provide technical leadership and collaborate effectively with product, QA, DevOps, and cross-functional engineering teams.
