Position Summary

4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Software Developers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Design and develop enterprise Java applications using Spring Boot, Spring MVC, J2EE, and n-tier or distributed architectures.
  2. Develop and maintain REST and SOAP services, integration solutions, and applications deployed across enterprise application servers.
  3. Develop SQL solutions and work with relational databases while supporting query optimization, performance, and data access requirements.
  4. Perform unit testing, code reviews, troubleshooting, and technical collaboration while following SDLC and Agile development practices.

Minimum Qualifications

The position requires:

Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience 6–9 years of experience in Java/J2EE backend development, enterprise application architecture, API development, database programming, and software integration.
Technical Skills Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, REST/SOAP APIs, SQL/Relational Databases, Mule/ESB Integration, JUnit/Mockito, WebSphere/JBoss
Business / Domain Skills Backend Development, Enterprise Application Development, Distributed Systems, System Integration, Software Development Lifecycle, Agile Development
Communication Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.
Documentation Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.
Work Authorization Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Experience with React, Angular, or Node.js and full-stack application development.
  2. Experience optimizing complex SQL queries, database performance, and troubleshooting database issues.
