Position Summary

4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Software Quality Assurance Analysts and Testers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Review functional specifications, system requirements, and design documentation to develop and execute comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
  2. Perform integration, system, user acceptance, and functional testing, including front-end and back-end validation of application functionality.
  3. Validate batch processes, benefit calculations, data conversions, reports, notices, security roles, interfaces, and inbound/outbound data exchanges.
  4. Create test documentation, record defects, trace requirements, and collaborate with project teams to resolve issues and deliver quality testing results.

Minimum Qualifications

The position requires:

Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience Experience with functional software testing, including test case development, test execution, system and integration testing, data validation, batch processing, and defect management.
Technical Skills Functional Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing, User Acceptance Testing, Azure DevOps, SQL, SOAP/API Testing, Batch Process Testing
Business / Domain Skills Health & Human Services, Integrated Eligibility, Benefits Administration, Eligibility Determination, Data Validation, Interface Testing
Communication Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.
Documentation Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.
Work Authorization Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Experience writing and modifying SQL queries for database validation and testing.
  2. Experience validating data between different systems and performing back-end reconciliation.
