It was a challenging program we got good theoretical and practical knowledge of programming in C #, ASP.NET, Web services, HTML and JavaScript in addition to tests every week to keep us on the track. The course was useful and interesting, delivered clearly and in detail with using the most up-to-date technologies. The atmosphere inside 4Ci and inside our class was so friendly, all people are very nice over there, the instructor was extremely bright, good presenter and an experience programmer, the other participants were amazing from all around the world which made our discussions and breaks so exciting, I learned a lot from their experience and insights. Hello my name is Michael T., I’m a Java Developer and I want to share my experience from 4Ci Academy. First, I had prior school experience with Java, but the two things that kept me from getting a job was my comfort level with java and my hands on experience. 4ci provided those two things and that ultimately lead to me getting a job with Big 3 Consulting Firm. The training provided hands on experience with core Java to help ensure that I was comfortable with the basics. After that we dove into Java EE and thoroughly covered JDBC, Hibernate, JPA, Mysql, Jsp’s and Servletts, JSF, Html CSS and JavaScript, and Web Services. I can speak for many people when I say that school doesn’t teach you Java EE. Although it is possible to learn it own your own, it was very beneficial having professor O, who is a professional Java developer in the industry, giving us first hand industry knowledge and being there when we had questions. I highly recommend anyone thinking about joining 4Ci to definitely join but go into it knowing that what you put into it is what you get out. I know for a fact that Professor O will do all he can to prepare you for the industry. Anuja and Shristi will do all they can do to represent you well, but it is up to the individual to study and work hard. I guarantee that if you do your part will definitely reap the rewards. Joining 4Ci was one of the best decisions that I’ve made and I’m grateful to have had the opportunity to join and to make lifelong connections and friendships with the people that I met.

I felt so excited and happy after I got the phone from 4Ci that they told me I got the job from Big 3 Consulting Firm. I knew it was hard and difficult to go through eight weeks training. I have seen people came into the glass being success and being failed. For some of the people who left here, I felt sorry. But what the most excited was the people got the chance to work in Big 3 Consulting Firm in the end. I was working so hard to memorize all the material that the professor told me. I knew there were competition and cooperation. But what is more is that I knew and learned Java in class. For this, I have to thank for Prof. Derek and Anuja, without their support and help I cannot get this opportunity. In the class, I have learned the Core java and Java EE. For Core java, there are many concepts I have to understand and memorize, because each of the trainee will get an interview, which mainly about core java. The concepts of java may include: variables, classes, exception, inheritance, polymorphism and so on. For Java EE, I learned how to use framework, which has hibernate, jsp, servlet, JSF, jdbc, struts, spring and so on. In the end I wanted to say that there is no any terminal point to be developer, so I have to push myself to keep learning new technologies. I will remember everything that Prof. Derek has told me and I will work hard and improve myself in Big 3 Consulting Firm. Best Luck everyone!
